After more than 10 years as boyfriend and girlfriend, engaged for over 1,5 years, dog parents for 1,5 years and 2 homes later, we are getting married! We hope that you would like be part of the big event.
On this website we will post the information you need to know for the big day. We'll publish more information about e.g. programme, accommodation options, transportation, speeches or other performances and wish list in not too long.
INFORMATION
The ceremony
Date: 17th of August 2024.
Time: 13.30-14.30.
Location: Seegård kirke.
After the ceremony there will be coffee and cake and the possibility to take some photos with the married couple.
When will you arrive?
Please let us know when you will arrive and depart again, especially if you arrive by plane. We might be able to pick you up or to arrange transportation for you between Oslo airport and Gjøvik/Toten.

TRANSPORTATION
To the church:
On Saturday, we will provide a bus to pick up people from Gjøvik/Toten and drive them to the church. If you need transportation, please get in touch with Trond (+47 90550292) or Irene (+47 4123430), with information about where you want to be picked up. We will let you know you when and where to be ready.
From the church to Prestegårdslåven:
We will also provide a bus/minibus from the church to Prestegårdslåven.
From Prestegårdslåven to Gjøvik/Toten:
The minibus will also be driving back from Prestegårdslåven to Gjøvik/Toten several times during the evening/night.
DRESS CODE
Summery and festive. Wear something nice that you feel comfortable in!
Ladies: long dress, approx. knee length or longer and preferably not too light in colour. Gentlemen: suit with tie/bow tie.
It can get a little chilly during the evening, so bring a sweater or jacket.
We encourage you to use something you already have, or to buy something used or that you can use again.
MASTER OF CEREMONIES
Do you want to give a speech or make another kind of contribution? Get in touch with one of our toastmasters!
We'd prefer the contributions to be kept short, preferably under 10 minutes.

If you would like to use audio equipment, a PC, a screen, other electronics etc., please let one of the toastmasters know so that arrangements can be made.
We'd prefer speeches/contributions to be given in Norwegian or English, and we would like you to send us your text/contribution before or after the wedding for translation.

WHY SEEGÅRD KIRKE?
Neither Trond nor Irene actually belong to Seegård kirke - so why get married in this church?
Trond is a fan of the artist Håkon Gullvåg, and the altarpiece in Seegård was made by Håkon Gullvåg. What better way to get married than having the backdrop being by one of your favorite artists?
Irene has been to Seegård kirke a lot as a leader with the confirmation leader training programme, both with Tårnagenter and Lys Våken, and has become quite fond of this church, in addition to it being quite nice visually both inside and out!
